Our Andromeda Botanical line of products are as mesmerizing as the lush botanical gardens they are named after and they have been Formulated using the most versatile plant extracts to produce skincare that soothes, restores and balances the skin and how it reacts, looks and feels.

Key Ingredients in the Andromeda line

  • Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) leaf juice
  • Tamarindus indica seed extract
  • Cucumis sativus (cucumber) fruit extract

Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) leaf juice (Also known as Barbados Aloe)

In ancient Egypt it was known as the 'plant of immortality' and today is still one of the most versatile ingredients used for the skin and for your health. On its own Aloe Vera contains bioactive compounds, a chemical found in a small variety of plants and in certain foods that have actions in the body that promote good health and are not simply reactive. We also rely on this extract as it contains antioxidants and reduces scars and brings extreme moisture to the skin.

Tamarindus Indica Seed Extract

One of our secret ingredients, we also consider it one of the most important and relevant as it significantly improves the skin’s elasticity, hydration and smoothness. Originating in East Africa, tamarind trees can also be found growing on the tropical island of Barbados. Studies have recently been found to show it outperforms hyaluronic acid in skin moisturizing, along with soothing fine lines and wrinkles.

Cucumis Sativus Fruit Extract

Similar to Aloe Vera is utilized for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties as well as for its skin conditioning benefits. Extreme hydration, due to its rich composition of polysaccharides- a carbohydrate whose molecules consist of a number of sugar molecules bonded together and are used in skincare as a barrier to attract and lock moisture in.

Other incredible advantages of this plant extract can be attributed to its contribution in reducing puffiness and due to a high percentage of vitamin K, the added benefit of minimizing dark circles, bruises and blemishes.
